Walker Mortuary was established in 1961 when Robert M. Walker purchased his first Funeral Home in Coalville, Utah. Expansion came in 1967 when the Walker family completed a new facility in Morgan, Utah. Together, the facilities are run as Walker Mortuary of Morgan and Coalville, Utah.
Bob and Lola Mae Walker
In 1982, Bob’s son, Mark L. Walker came to work in the family business as a licensed funeral director. Mark graduated from Cypress College of Mortuary Science in Cypress, California. Together, Bob and Mark ran the facilities together until Robert passed away in 1997. In 2007, Lola Mae also passed away, marking the end of an era.
Mark and his wife, Janene have made Walker Mortuary their “life,” working together now for 33 years and involving their four children. It truly is a Family Business.

Landon graduated from Mesa Community College Mortuary Science in Mesa, Arizona on May 14, 2009 and completed his apprenticeship with Walker Mortuary. He is currently working full-time and is a licensed Funeral Director.
Camille graduated from Mid-America College of Funeral Service in Jeffersonville, Indiana in September of 2007. She currently resides in Washington State with her family and continues to help the business from afar as she manages the website, social media, and other various tasks.
Shawn graduated from Arapahoe Community College of Mortuary Science in Denver, Colorado in May of 2014 and completed his apprenticeship with Walker Mortuary. He is currently working full-time and is a licensed Funeral Director.
