Patsy passed away peacefully surrounded by her devoted husband and loving children on September 29, 2021 at age 66. Imagine the sweet reunion taking place as Patsy had longed to see her precious son Bryce.
Patsy was born September 14, 1955 in Paris, Kentucky to Theodore “Shorty” & Elsie Toadvine. She graduated from Bourbon County High School in Paris Kentucky, Class of 1973.
Patsy married the love of her life Randy Clark on March 31, 1972, and they have walked hand in hand since that day. They shared a sincere love and respect for one another that all who witnessed admired. They genuinely enjoyed each others company and just loved being together.
Patsy's most treasured gift was being a Mother and Grandmother. She had 5 children, 8 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. She was proud of each and every one of them, and was the true definition of “unconditional love”. She looked forward to being with them and supporting them in all of their activities. Patsy loved sharing her talents of cooking, sewing, gardening, and country decorating with her children and grandchildren and passing on her expertise and wisdom to continue the family traditions.
Patsy was a talented seamstress and sewed numerous blessing dresses, flower girl dresses, Halloween costumes, musical and play costumes, every day wear and much, much, more. She took pride in her work and would say, “if you're not going to do it right then you might as well not do it at all”.
Patsy was an incredible cook and shared that love with her family and countless others.
Although Utah had been home to Patsy for over 40 years she was a southern girl at heart, and proud of her Kentucky roots. She enjoyed telling stories of her “Old Kentucky Home” and instilling in her family a love of her Southern culture.
Patsy worked for over 20 years at the Coalville Health Center lovingly serving the people in her community. She made many friends and memories along the way.
Patsy was beautifully kind to everyone and had the ability to sense when people needed her help. She enjoyed helping people and did it so willingly. Patsy touched many lives with her kindness and generosity. Patsy lived a life of service. Always doing for others and never expecting anything in return. Taking care of her family and extended family with a smile on her face and happy to serve. Patsy taught her family to love by example. Always helping others to be better through her example of love and sacrifice. Patsy was a gift to this world and will be greatly missed by all those who were blessed to know her. We will carry her genuine goodness with us forever!
Patsy is preceded in death by her son Bryce Lawrence Clark, her parents, Theodore “Shorty” and Elsie Toadvine, her brothers Roger Lee Toadvine, Teddy Toadvine and Donnie Toadvine.
