Lana, 78, passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, January 29, 2022.  Lana was born February 2, 1943 at Dee hospital in Ogden Utah to Harold and Verna Rollins. Lana was the oldest child with two younger sisters .

Lana attended and graduated from Morgan High School where she was a cheerleader for the Morgan Trojans. After High school Lana attended Weber State College and was a wildcat cheerleader, she graduated with a BS in education with an emphasis on music. Lana was fluent in playing the piano, organ, clarinet, mandolin, banjo, ukulele among other instruments as well. After graduating she met and married Ron Dreaden, she then had her son Colby Dreaden on May 28, 1971. After Colby was born they moved to West Covina, California until 1973, after divorcing, Lana and Colby moved back to Mountain Green.

Lana went back to school at the University of Utah, where she graduated with a master’s degree in social work. Lana worked with Vietnam Veterans at the Salt Lake City VA hospital, she worked at Rivendale treatment center for troubled youth, she was the director at St. Benedict's substance abuse program. Lana was also a psychiatric social worker at the state hospital in Wyoming.

Lana married for a second time to Tony Walters, for the 12 years they were married, they shared a love for horses and farm life, Lana loved horses, she had a champion Arabian named Pirate King, who was her pride and joy. Lana loved Disneyland and some of her fondest memories were trips there with the family. Lana's love for cats lead to her joking that she would be "that old crazy cat lady". Lana's compassion towards people and animals will forever be unforgettable by all that knew and loved her and her greeting of "hi hun" and "thanks dear" will always be remembered as well.

Lana is proceeded in death by her father Harold and her mother Verna. Lana is survived by her son Colby,(Michelle) her bonus grandson Max, her bonus great grandson who is due February 22nd, Kasey. Lana is also survived by her two sisters.

The family would like to thank Encompass Healthcare and Hospice, especially Corey and Cassie for all their care and kindness with Lana, also thank you to Michelle for all her help and care for Lana as well.

Funeral services will be held Friday Feb. 4, 2022 at 1 pm at the Highlands church, 5378 W. Old Hwy Road, Mtn. Green, Ut.  A viewing will take place on Thursday from 6 to 8 at Walker Mortuary, 45 West 200 North, Morgan, UT and again on Friday at the church from 12 to 12:45 pm.

Interment will be at the Mtn. Green Cemetery.
