June Barney

December 5, 1944 — December 22, 2021

June Robinson Barney joyfully joined her husband and son in heaven on December 22, 2021 after a long fought battle with COPD.

June was born in Coalville Utah on December 5, 1944 to Milton and Cora Robinson. She married O’Dean Barney on August 24, 1974 in Salt Lake City and gained a son (Richard Barney) that may not have been blood but was the son of her heart. After the birth of their twin daughters Stephanie and Jennifer the family eventually moved to Layton Utah where both June and O’Dean happily lived out the majority of their lives.

June was preceded in death by her parents Milton and Cora; sister Gwenith; husband O’Dean; and son Richard. She is survived by her two brothers Don (Margie) and Carl (Julie); two daughters Stephanie (John) and Jennifer (Jeremy); 11 grand children (Jessalyn (Kent), Jared (Shelby), Cole(Amber), Jace(McKenzie), Dillon,  Jannelle(Tyler), Jedrick, Samuel, Mason, Gabby and Emily ); 6 bonus grand children  Sidney (Dylan), Bailey (Cassandra), Bryson, Kierstyn, Nova and Cassandra  and 3 great grand children (Jaxton, Atlanta June and Dominic).

Family and friends are invited to join us at the Walker Mortuary, 45 West 200 North, Morgan Utah on January 4, 2022 at 11am for her celebration of life and for the grave side service at the Coalville Cemetery afterwards. Please dress casual as June was never one for a formal gathering. Until we meet again.
