Grant Crezee

June 24, 1929 — January 18, 2020

Mountain Green

MOUNTAIN GREEN-Grant Lowell Crezee Sr. passed away peacefully in his home Saturday, January 18, 2020 in Mountain Green, Utah at the age of 90.

Grant was born June 24, 1929 to John W. And Edna Johnson Crezee in Ogden, Utah and was the youngest of four children.

He spent his childhood in Ogden Valley and Idaho but always called the Valley his home. He married his sweetheart, Marilyn Gladys Creamer on June 8, 1953 where they were sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake City Temple. They were blessed with three children Lowell, Vivian, and Vanessa (deceased) and later raised their granddaughters Nicole and Vanessa.

Grant served his country honorably in the Korean conflict and was stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina in the Army.

Grant worked as a flooring installer for over 50 years and his employment sent him and his family to San Jose, California and Oahu, Hawaii before setting in Mountain Green where his family made their permanent home for the next 48 years. Grant and Marilyn ran a successful ceramic business for many years and you could often find him humming to himself as he poured off molds.

He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints all his life and enjoyed serving in many capacities.

Grant will be remembered as a hard working and quiet man with a strong faith in his Heavenly Father and an unfaltering love for his family. He was always quick with a smile, a wave, and never said no to a bowl (or two) of ice cream. He will be truly missed by his entire family.

He is survived by his wife of almost 67 years, Marilyn. His children Lowell Crezee Jr. (Fern), Vivian Pentz (Byron), Nicole Stark (Brandon), and Vanessa Morfin (Adam), grandchildren Geoffrey, Ryan, Clara, Shelee, and Isaac, and 9 great grand-children and adopted Morris, Godwin, and Howard families.

He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings: Jean, Deon, and Rulon; grandson, Brandon, and daughter, Vanessa.

Services will be had at 11am on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at the Highlands Chapel, 5378 W. Old Hwy Rd., Mountain Green, Utah. Viewings will be at the church Wednesday, January 22, 2020 6-8pm and prior to the service from 9:45 to 10:45 am.

Interment will be at the Liberty Cemetery.
