Connie Swensen

Connie Jean Maxwell Swensen, age 70, beloved Wife, Mother and Grandmother, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 in Coalville, Utah surrounded by her family.  Born March 1, 1950 in Coalville , Utah, to Leon Ralph and Roma Jean Maxwell.  She was the oldest of 4 children.

Connie graduated from North Summit High School and received an associates degree from the Salt Lake Community College.  On November 7, 1969 she  married her high school sweetheart Thomas Mark Swensen in the Salt Lake Temple.

They have four children, Rory, (Krista), Coalville, UT; Eric, Salt Lake City, UT; Tiffani (Kyle Clark) Coalville, UT; Stefani (Jordan Hillin), Coalville UT and 11 grandchildren.

Connie was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where she held many different callings throughout her life. Her love for the gospel was shown with the way she lived her life always in service of others.

Connie’s greatest joy in life was being a Grandma to her 11 grandchildren. Always attending activities, supporting them in their adventures and having them around her to play puzzles or share her chocolate made her the happiest. Grandma’s love will be missed dearly by each grandchild.  .

Survived by her husband, Tom, four children, eleven  grandchildren, two brothers and a sister. Reunited with her Mom and Dad, Leon and Roma

She will be  missed by her entire family.  We’ll miss you and love you lots!

The family would like to express their sincerest gratitude to Encompass Health and especially to Corey Blonquist for her compassionate and attentive care.

The  family will join together for her interment at the Coalville Cemetery.
