Becky Bosworth

June 13, 1968 — March 18, 2020

Upton

Have you ever looked into the eyes of an angel?  We have and were graced with her presence for 51 years.  On March 18th, our beautiful Becky Sue was joyfully embraced by her dearly loved father Wayne and devoted older sister Cathy, to be together again for the eternities.

Becky may have entered this earthly life with physical constraints, but even those trials could not extinguish her sweet and accepting smile which radiated easily to all those who were privileged to greet her.  We truly were walking on hallowed ground when in her presence.

Our annual family reunions held the July 24th weekend at the Bosworth Family park in Upton were something Becky always looked forward to.  She enjoyed the interactions with so many extended family members.  She loved her weekly outing to Golden Corral in Layton with the staff there treating her as family.  She studied the gospel at home with her mom when they were unable to attend church on a regular basis, reading the scriptures and of course she never missed her bedtime prayers with mom at her side.

Becky loved attending North Summit and Seminary where she was delighted to earn her diplomas from.  She was perhaps the greatest educator in her earthly test.  Who greater could teach pure love, sweet warmth, genuine acceptance, exuberant joy,  and tender humility---those true unconditional characteristics we all could learn by her supreme example.

Becky was loved by so many, her sweet mother who tenderly nurtured and cared for her, her father who took action whenever even a sniffle threatened her health, her siblings who fiercely and lovingly protected her, her Upton Ward Family, her Golden Corral friends, and literally anyone who had the blessing of having her in their lives.

Becky is survived by her dedicated and eternal partner and mother Marlene H. Bosworth, siblings Colleen (Val) Hinze, Gayle (Ben) Argyle, Ed Smith, Arnie (Melanie) Bosworth, Mike Bosworth, Lynette Bosworth, Jeff Louder and Fred (Lisa) Bosworth. She was blessed to have 5 nieces to dote on her and  23 nephews to protect her and all of them so loved their Aunt Becky.  Those who passed before her and eagerly greeted her upon her returning are: her father Wayne D. Bosworth,  sister Cathy Bosworth Louder and niece Jennalee Hinze, so many Aunts, Uncles and especially her priceless grandparents.

A special thanks is extended from our family to those who so willingly shared love and caring for our dear sister and mother--- Jeanette Vernon PA-C, Canyons Hospice with Taylor Willoughby RN and Linda Morrison MSW, the entire Upton ward, especially Ken and Karen Henrie, Cheryl Willoughby, Sharlen Potter, Sandy Curtis and Margaret Bowman.

Thank you to all of our family members for reaching out and contributing wherever and whenever you could.  To our sister Gayle and brother Fred--your sacrifices did not go unnoticed.

Due to the pandemic Coronavirus-- an immediate family only viewing will be held Tuesday March 24th after which a 2:00pm graveside service where family and friends are invited to attend to be held at the Kaysville Cemetery 500 E Crestwood Drive Kaysville, where Becky will be interred next to her father.

Our hearts are broken and joyful at the same time.  Words will never express the void in our mortal lives, but our spiritual lives will always be enlightened whenever her name is spoken. Becky can now share the many stories she has accumulated on earth--forever talking her dad's ears off---can you just see that moment.... Oh the joy in heaven--she is dancing amongst the stars and adding her voice to the most astounding choir ever.

"A sweet friendship refreshes the soul..." Proverbs 27:9

In lieu of flowers and in sweet remembrance of Becky...find a way to let someone know they are cared for and thought about during this time of anxiety and uncertainty by making a donation to a favorite charity or to meals on wheels, or pay a child's lunch account at the school.  Just help someone that could use Becky's smile and acceptance.
