Barbara Pasquali

April 25, 1949 — January 18, 2021

Upton

Barbara Ann Goude Pasquali, aged 71, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, wife, and friend, passed into the loving presence of her Heavenly Father on January 18th, 2021, from cancer.

She was born on April 25th, 1949, in Spokane, Washington, to Laura Mae Clawson and George Campbell Goude.  As a child, she resided in Helena, Montana until the passing of her parents as a teen.  She and her brother, Stuart, looked out for each other during their youth.  As an adult she moved to Salt Lake City, Utah.  Barbara attended college at the University of Utah, majoring in psychology.  She worked at many hospitals, including LDS hospital and the University of Utah hospital, as a sterilization technician.

A talented scenic painter in young adulthood, Barbara loved to capture beautiful landscapes on canvas.  Barbara loved the outdoors.  She was diagnosed with glaucoma in 1976 and lost most of her eyesight throughout her life due to the disease, but she never let that stop her from living life to the fullest.

Barbara married the love of her life, Pete Pasquali III, on February 12th, 1997, combining their families.  Barbara often helped her husband with their dairy goat ranch in Upton, Utah, and accompanied him on his trips to sell goat cheese in Salt Lake City, Price, and Helper.  Barbara and Pete had many adventures together, including fishing trips to the Uintah mountains and going to Yellowstone.  They also explored Southern Nevada together upon the purchase of their second home in Mesquite, Nevada.

As an active member of the LDS church, Barbara loved doing temple work, genealogy, and listening to hymns.  She loved piano music and was teaching herself how to play.  She also loved cooking.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Pete Pasquali III, and their children, Pete Pasquali IV (Yvonne), Romano Pasquali (Ann Barron), Sarah L. Pasquali Ericksen, and Anna Clark (Zory), 9 grandchildren, and her brother, Stuart.

She is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, her little brother, Daniel Goude, and son, Joseph Pasquali.

As per Barbara's request, a small service proceeding cremation was held on January 20th, 2021 at Walker Mortuary in Morgan, Utah.  A celebration of her life will be held in June 2021 in Upton, Utah.  Please contact her daughter, Anna Clark, for further details.

Barbara's family would like to thank Walker Mortuary for their compassionate services.  In lieu of flowers, her family asks that a donation be made in Barbara's name to the Utah School for the Deaf and Blind.
