Winona Gunn

March 4, 1929 — October 6, 2011

Our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2011.

She was born on March 4, 1929 in Ogden, Utah to Wilford Roy and Thelma Jane Hansen. Winona graduated from Downey High School and later attended BYU where she studied Music and Home Economics. Winona married the love of her life, H. LaMarr Gunn in the Logan Temple on October 29, 1948. She was married to him for over 62 years.

She played the piano most of her life. Not only did she teach others but she also took lessons later in life too. She also held many positions in the church.

She is survived by five children: Theras, Marlys Stevens, Kevin, Craig (Audrie), Trent (Yvette). 14 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Mignon Gardner and LaRee Jacobson, one brother, Deon Hansen and one son Christian.

Services will be held Friday, October 14, 2011 at 11 a.m. in the Hoytsville LDS Ward Chapel. A viewing will be held Thursday, October 13, 2011 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Hoytsville Church and on Friday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services.

Interment will be in the Hoytsville Cemetery.

We would like to thank all the doctors and nurses of the Coalville Health Clinic, Bristol Hospice Care and Pioneer Care Center for their help and support.

She will be greatly missed and her memory will live long in our hearts.
