Roberta Warner

Coalville, UT a�" Esther Roberta Duncan Warner, 92, passed away in her home on Monday, November 12, 2012. Roberta was born December 31, 1919 in Grandfield, Oklahoma to Orvil and Claudia Eudora Foshee Duncan.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 59 years, Reed Warner and daughters, Rosalind Warner and Reeda Warner; grandchildren Stephanie Opheikens, Melissa (Scott) Simar, Natalie (Matthew) Everett, of Utah and Matthew Roemer of Denver; and seven great-grandchildren.

Roberta moved to Coalville, UT in 1947, where she was always helping out in community organizations such as BPW and American Legion Auxiliary, where she worked tirelessly on projects such as the Community Birthday Calendar, selling poppys, and other activities she enjoyed. She has worked in numerous positions in Coalville, including the Kozy CafAC., County Assessor's office, Dean's Coffee Shop, Summit County Bee. Her last accomplishment was owning and operating her own business, Nordge Village Laundromat; where she worked until her retirement in 1992. After retiring, she and Reed became "Snow Birds" spending the winters in St George, UT. She made many good friends every where she and Reed went. It was in St George where she really discovered her decorating skills, beautifully decorating their new home in St. George. Growing up in Frederick, OK, mother was part of a Hobby Club and developed lifelong friends. Mother's warmth, wit and sass made her days with us very special. Roberta was a great lady who will not be forgotten.

The family would like to thank and acknowledge the wonderful care of Encompass Home Health and Hospice including, Debbie, Jennifer, Edith, Emogene, Kelly, Harmon and Kaitlin.

A viewing will be held on Friday, November 16, 2012 from 6 to 8 pm at Walker Mortuary, 268 South Main Street, Coalville. The funeral will be held at the Mortuary on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 12:00 noon with visitation one hour prior. Burial will be at the Coalville Cemetery.
