Rex Waldron

February 23, 1959 — February 13, 2014

MORGAN - Rex T Waldron 54 passed away Thursday February 13, 2014 at his home in Richville, Morgan County Utah.

He was born February 23, 1959 in Ogden, Utah a son of Earl Homer, and Phyllis Marilyn Thomson Waldron.

His youth was spent on the family dairy farm in Richville, milking cows, and all of the other chores associated with a working dairy, and hanging out with his friends, developing lifelong friendships, and living life to its fullest. Richville became a much quieter and peaceful place when Rex grew up. Rex graduated from Morgan High School in 1976.

While still in high school he began working for Russell Porter at Porter Fur Farm. He developed a love of raising mink, later acquiring a herd of his own. Rex later went to work for Roach and Sons Disposal, and then for Bret Heiner Construction, building many homes throughout Northern Utah.

On June 10, 1989 Rex married Suzi Hodgson at her parents' home in Morgan. Together they are the parents of son Conner Rex Waldron, and daughter Kacee Waldron, who are the light of their dads' life. Rex had a passion for always playing jokes and entertaining, something he passed along to both Conner and Kacee. They have inherited many of Rex's great qualities, for their hard work ethic, determination in accomplishing their goals, no matter how difficult, and the most important of all unconditional love.

Many happy times have been spent by their family in the outdoors, trips to Yellowstone and Jackson Hole, the National Parks of Southern Utah, and the most special of them all, being able to jump on the 4-wheelers at the back door and spend hours on the mountains of the Richville Range, checking out all of the changes of the seasons and the wildlife.

Rex is survived by his mother, Phyllis Waldron, wife Suzi Waldron, son Conner (fiancAC.e Nichole Jones), and Daughter Kacee Waldron of Morgan. Brothers Craig (Tammy) Waldron, Roy, and Blaine Waldron, Morgan. Sisters Sharon (Cary) Cobb, Smithville, TX, Marilyn (Doug) Stanger, Marriott-Slaterville, Ann (Troy) Gren, Clearfield.

He was preceded in death by his father, Sister Shellie, and father in law Carl Hodgson.

The family will meet friends at the Walker Mortuary, in Morgan on Monday February 17 from 6 to 8 pm and at the Porterville Church, 2660 S Morgan Valley Drive from 9:45 to 10:45 am followed by the funeral at 11 am.

Interment at the South Morgan Cemetery.

Although my heart is broken, this is not goodbye, it is I will see you again. Love you forever. -Suzi
