Natalie Garritson

July 1, 1974 — October 16, 2011

When the challenges of life face us, it is so important to not forget the Lord in your life. This was the desire of our wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend.

Natalie Walker Garritson left this life suddenly on October 16, 2011 at age 37. She was surrounded by her loving family and greeted by them as well.

She was born on July 1, 1974 in Ogden, UT to Kraig and Debbie Walker of Morgan. Natalie never forgot to be patient with herself. Her perseverance through school helped her graduate with honors from Morgan High School. She graduated from Ricks College and also graduated Valedictorian from the College of Education at Utah State University. She taught first grade at South Weber Elementary where she met the love of her life David Joseph Garritson of Syracuse. She came to life when they met. She is his strength and he is hers. They are truly a love story. They began their eternal family on August 9, 2000 in the Salt Lake Temple.

Natalie never forgot to be happy. Her family is everything to her. Her three boys Michael (9), Thomas (7), and Robert (2) are, along with Dave, the true loves of her life. She spent her every minute caring, worrying and making the special details of their everyday life shine. Being a mother was her greatest joy. Natalie loved traditions and making memories with her family. She always had good ideas and loved trying new things. She brought much love and joy to her extended family as well. She cherished her time with them. Some of her favorite times included shopping trips with the girls, the annual family vacation to Yellowstone, and lazy Sunday afternoons over delicious home cooked meals.

Natalie truly understood the importance of good sacrifice in the gospel of Jesus Christ. She loved to serve her friends and sisters in the Relief Society where she was serving as second counselor. She had also shared her talents with the primary and young women.

Above all, Natalie would never want us to forget that the Lord loves us. We know she will be watching over her family until the day they will be reunited.

Natalie, we will forget not that you are truly a precious daughter in Gods Kingdom.

She is survived by her loving husband, three special boys, parents, and five siblings; Sherry (Adam) Birt, Michele (Doug) Wilkinson, Denise (Tyson) Christensen, Brandon (Janell) Walker, and Dawnyle (Zachary) Haugen. She also has 25 nieces and nephews that all adored her.

Funeral services will be held on Friday October 21 at 1 p.m. at the Porterville chapel, 2700 S. Morgan Valley Drive, Morgan, UT. Friends may call at the Walker Mortuary, 45 W 200 N., Morgan, Thursday, from 6 to 8 p.m., and Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Porterville church.

Interment, South Morgan Cemetery.
