Michelle Leah Bohman, 54, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 25, at 8:11 a.m. at St. Mark’s Hospital in Millcreek, Utah, due to septic shock.
Michelle was born on August 26, 1971, in Hayward, California, to Paul St. Onge and Cheryl (George) St. Onge. Her family moved to Topaz, Nevada where Michelle attended Douglas High School in nearby Minden, Nevada. Michelle was raised with a deep sense of family and a love for animals. After graduating high school, Michelle chose to serve her country by enlisting in the United States Air Force.
On June 1, 1991, Michelle married Robert Bohman, in Virginia City, Nevada. Together, they built a life centered around family and raised five children. Michelle and her family lived in San Ramon, California, until 2008, when they relocated to Morgan, Utah. She devoted many years to raising her children and creating a loving home. After moving to Utah, Michelle worked as an accomplished cook at Kelly’s Roadhouse, Family Tree, and Wasatch Peak Ranch in Morgan, Stoney Brook in Eden, Snowbasin in Huntsville, and the Resurrection Roadhouse in Seward, Alaska. She was also instrumental in establishing the Smokin Box Car food truck and most recently worked for Mama’s Mobile Toaster.
Michelle was a talented and creative individual who excelled in all she pursued. She had a particular passion for photography and found joy in capturing meaningful moments. She loved the outdoors and treasured time spent with her family. Known for her warm personality, quick wit, and sense of humor, Michelle made friends easily and left a lasting impression on those who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Bohman of Morgan, Utah; her children: Justin and Jessi Bohman of Morgan, Utah; Jeremy Bohman and his wife Diana (Gomez) Bohman of Roy, Utah; Jason Bohman, serving in the U.S. Navy in Port Hueneme, California; and Jaden Bohman of Morgan, Utah. She is also survived by her beloved granddaughters, Ivory Bohman of Roy, Utah, and Sunflower Hull-Bohman of St. George, Utah; her mother, Cheryl St. Onge of Topaz, Nevada; her sister, Nicole St. Onge of Topaz, Nevada; as well as many extended family members.
Michelle was preceded in death by her father, Paul St. Onge of Reno, Nevada; her grandparents Mommom and Dandy George of Topaz, Nevada; and her loving cousin Jason St. Onge of San Jose, California.
Michelle will be remembered for her adventurous nature, creativity, kindness to others, and her incredible smile that will never be forgotten. Her presence will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2026 at 3:00 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Bowery at 4270 W. Cottonwood Canyon Road. Morgan (Mt. Green), Utah 84050
