Mary Gold

February 17, 1949 — August 24, 2014

Our loving Wife, Mother, and Grandmother;  Mary Sue Gold, 65, returned to her Heavenly Father on  Sunday, August 24, 2014, at her home while surrounded by her family.

Mary Sue was one of a kind; a truly beautiful spirit who was born February 17, 1949, in Malad, Idaho, the daughter of Henry and LaDene Richards.  She was sealed to David Gold for time and eternity on September 4, 1968, in the Salt Lake City Temple.  When you were around her, you couldn’t help but smile.  She was someone you could talk to anytime.  She would climb mountains to help someone in need, even if she couldn’t she would find someone who could or she would just move the mountain.  She was never ungrateful and always positive.

Her greatest creation was her children and grandchildren; she cared for many lives especially all God’s creatures, who loved her as well.  One of her passions was working with the cub scouts, she was always going above and beyond to make sure her scouts met success and had a fun experience to take with them through their lives.  She served a successful service mission in the Eccles Park area alongside her husband.  She will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

Mary Sue is survived by her loving husband, David Gold, their five children, and 17 grandchildren: Jennifer (Chad) Brown, Sarah (Quinn) Tucker, Phillip Gold, Sharon (Tyler) Roath, Aaron (Kara) Gold,

She was preceded in death by her parents.
