Margery Bell

February 16, 1918 — July 24, 2013

"Marge" was born in Salt Lake City on February 16, 1918, to her proud parents, Alfred W. Hilton and Lillian Kummer Hilton. She had one brother, Bill (deceased) and one sister, Faye Hilton Shields. She graduated from South High School. Mom loved to dance and met the love of her life, Veldon Bell, at a dance at the Coconut Grove. They were soon married and moved to Los Angeles, California, where her four children were born; Veldon Bell Jr., (deceased), Donald Bell (deceased), Lois B. Whitney (Mardean) and Sharon B. Cox (Leon). She is also survived by daughters-in-law, Janet Bell and Pauline Groesbeck. The family moved to Morgan, Utah, in 1946. Mom worked for a time at Como Springs CafAC., and then at Williams Grocery until she retired. Mom was a wonderful cook and loved cooking for her family.

She loved her family dearly and was blessed with 9 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 13 great, great grandchildren. After Dad passed away in 2003, Mom was cared for by her two daughters until her body finally wore out and she was admitted to Mountain View Care Center where she passed away on July 24, 2013.

We love you Mom and thank you for all the caring years you gave to us.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 29th at 11:00 a.m. at the Walker Mortuary in Morgan, Utah. A viewing for family and friends will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., prior to the services at the mortuary. Burial will be at the South Morgan Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff at Mountain View Care Center for the care they provided.
