Marcelene Hillam Robinson, aged 89, peacefully passed away on March 28, 2024. She was born on July 7, 1934, in Marysville, Idaho, to Norman Roy Hillam and Dorothy Mary Hansen Hillam, spending her formative years on a family farm.
Marcelene was a woman of many talents and Christlike love. Her dedication to her family and faith defined her life’s purpose. As an educator, she enriched the lives of countless students through her love of teaching. Marcelene’s humble service at the piano and organ deeply touched the hearts of many with her musical talents.
In the Idaho Falls Temple, Marcelene was united in marriage to her eternal companion, Joseph Errol Robinson. Together, they shared a life of devotion and service, exemplifying the principles of love and unity. Their service extended to the Ogden Temple, where they found joy in serving together.
Marcelene was an angel mother to her three sons, providing them with unwavering love, support, and guidance throughout their lives. Her legacy of love lives on through her grandchildren, who were blessed to know her gentle and nurturing spirit.
Preceding her in death were her parents and older brother Norman Blair Hillam. She is survived by her beloved spouse, her brother Douglas Hillam (Charlotte), her sister Dorothy Ann Hillam Ricks (Kimber, deceased), her sons Jason (Carrie), Quinn (Tiffani), and Marc (Christy), and her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
The viewing for Marcelene will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Walker Mortuary. The funeral service will take place on Friday, April 5, 2024, at noon at the Old Rock Church (10 West Young Street, Morgan, UT 84050). A viewing will be held at the church preceding the funeral from 10:45-11:45 a.m. The interment will be at South Morgan Cemetery. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.
