Mara Lynn Carter

Mara Lynn Carter peacefully passed away on August 12, 2026, after an extended illness.

She was born on July 22, 1956. She was the 6th of 9 children born to Walter Dale and Leona Carter.

She had many hobbies including cross stitching, diamond art, quilting, crystal creations and collecting weird stuff.

She is survived by brother and sisters; Arnold (Cheryl), Sharlene (Hyrum), Randy, Harold (Elizebeth), Delbert, Pamela (Thayne), and Cindy. Also, many nieces and nephews.

She is proceeded in death by parents Walter Dale & Leona, and 1 sister Carla Jean.

She will be missed by all!

Thanks to Austin, her hospice nurse who was there for her in the final months and for getting her scratchers.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday August 18 at 12 noon at Walker Mortuary. A Memorial service will follow at 1pm. Interment will take place at the South Morgan Cemetery.
