LM Whittaker

L.M. "Dick" Whittaker, 90, passed away September 11, 2007 of natural causes at his home in Coalville.

LM was born May 30, 1917 in Nephi Utah to Zenas LeRoy and Beatrice Norton Whittaker. Dick married Wanda Firn Riley on May 8, 1941 in Burley Idaho and later sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple.

Dick was a farmer, and welder at the amalgamated sugar Factory in Paul, Idaho. He always had a project that he was working on during his retirement. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and always had a testimony of the gospel. Dick and Wanda served two LDS missions from 79-81 and 89-90.

He has 4 children, 25 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and is also survived by his sweetheart Wanda and one sister.

Funeral services for Dick will be held Saturday, September 15, 2007 at 11 a.m. in the Coalville Stake Center, 40 North Main Street in Coalville. A viewing will be held at 9:30 a.m. in the church prior to the service.

Interment will be at the Wanship Cemetery.
