Larry Ted London

MORGAN a" Larry Ted London, 65, passed away June 7, 2007 at his home in Porterville after a long battle with liver cancer.

He was born Feb. 16, 1942 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Delbert Toone London and Barbara Crouch.

On September 17, 1965, he married Judith Lynette Bird in the Salt Lake Temple.

Larry attended public school in Salt Lake City, where he was active in sports and graduated from Olympus High School. He also loved spending his summers on his grandparents' ranch in Croydon, Utah. He later graduated from Weber State College. He worked at Hill Air Force Base in Avionics Flight Test, owned and operated his own ceramic tile business, and enjoyed driving school bus. His greatest vocation, however, was raising five daughters and operating a small farm in Porterville, Utah. Larry loved working with animals, the soil, and building and landscaping their home for his family. Larry has always been active in the LDS church and loved serving the Lord through his many callings. He served for two years in the Alaskan Canadian mission. He was a member of the Utah National Guard, Morgan County Planning Commission, Morgan County Council (six years), Morgan County Fair Board, and Morgan Lions Club (where he also served as president). His pride and joy were his five grandsons and three granddaughters.

He is survived by his wife and sweetheart, Judith Lynette Bird London; daughters: Lacey London-Riley (Jordan) of Clinton, UT; Lexey London Gianfilippo (Mark, Alex, AJ, Jackie) of Morgan, UT; Lezley Simonson (Jamie, Kade, Kaleb, Kyra) of Lander WY; Lindy Murray (Ryan & Serena) of Vancouver, WA; and Lori London (single and looking); parents, Delbert Toone London and Barbara Crouch London of Holladay, UT; sister, Debbie Child (Jim) of Holladay, UT; brothers: Terry London (Jeanine) of Salt Lake City, UT; Jon London (Sherri) of Holladay, UT; Shane London (Robyne) of Sandy, UT; and Scott London of Farmington, UT; and many other beloved family members and friends.

Larry has always tried to live by the motto: "Service to God, country, family, community, church and others." He planted many "seeds" throughout his lifetime that will continue to grow and flourish as a legacy for generations to come. Larry fought a good fight and exemplified endurance to the end. He will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 11, 2007 at 12 Noon in the Morgan 6th Ward Chapel in Porterville, (2700 S. Morgan Valley Drive). Friends and family may call at Walker Mortuary in Morgan, Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday at the church from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m.

Interment, South Morgan Cemetery.
