Judy loved to cook and bake. She is famous for her German Chocolate Cake, pies, bread and rolls. She encouraged all to “make out a meal,” and “don’t go away hungry.” She loved holidays, especially Christmas. Judy was an accomplished seamstress and quilter, making afghans, Barbie and doll clothes, and quilts for all the grandchildren. She loved camping, traveling, going for rides and was able to enjoy many cruises. Judy especially enjoyed the family gatherings.
As a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Judy served in many callings including Primary President, Relief Society President and as a missionary in San Bernardino, California with Sheldon.
Following Sheldon’s retirement in 1991, they built a home in Washington, UT where they spent their winter months until 2011. For the past 4 years, Judy enjoyed her stay and the many friends at the Family Tree in Morgan, Utah.
