Judith Williams

Our loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Favorite Aunt passed away peacefully Thursday morning in her home, with her family by her side. It was Judy's final rally. For many years she has courageously battled diseases that ravaged her body, but would not weaken her spirit.

Mom was so easy to be around. She welcomed you without question. Judy was the center of attention and the focus of fun to her family and friends. Judy did not take herself too seriously. Her zest for life and smile were contagious. Even in her weakest hours, Mom's sense of humor could not be quieted. To her, family and friends came first. She was always eager to spend meaningful time with those she loved. We loved how she could make every moment count. Mom kept us united by telling us stories about our family and ancestors.

Judy liked to surround herself with beauty, whether it was trinkets around the house, jewelry or a seat at the symphony. And she was just as comfortable watching the Utah Jazz. Her vibrant energy, love for life, and her generosity have left a permanently imprint on us all.

Born on November 23, 1942 in Ogden, Judy was raised in Morgan. Her parents are Blaine (Bill) Wallace and Ruby Green Dickson. Throughout her life, Judy was surrounded by boys. She was the favorite sister to Robert (Bob), and later to Larry and Leslie Bennett when they joined the family from the Indian reservation in Arizona. Judy married Keith Waldron and together they had three sons. Later she married Brock Williams and to them was born one son. Still, she was a loving buddy and confidant to the daughters-in-law and girl cousins.

Judy worked for several large corporations. For many years she was Operations Manager at stock brokerage firms in Ogden and Salt Lake, and Recall Manager at Browning Arms in Morgan. As her health began to decline she was forced to retire at an early age. Her valiant struggle with Parkinson's and Multiple Sclerosis (MS) ultimately required all her energy and called her early to her heavenly home. As the illness progressed, Judy was watched over by many dear friends such as ShaRon and the many caregivers from hospice.

She is survived by husband Brock, brothers Robert (Karel Mae) Dickson of Vernal, UT; Larry (Billie) Bennett of Layton, UT; Leslie Bennett of Page, AZ; sons Kent (Laura) Waldron of Farmington, UT; Michael (Laura) Waldron of Danville, CA; Chad (Michele) Waldron of Kaysville, UT; Kyle (Treana) Williams of Syracuse, UT; Michael (Kimberly) Williams of Anchorage, AK; Kathy (Wayne) Morris of Fishers, IN; and seventeen grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, December 17, at 12:00, at the LDS meeting house at 2680 East Cherry Lane, Layton. Friends are invited to viewing, Monday, December 16, 6:00-8:00, at Walker Mortuary in Morgan (45 W. 200 N.). Viewing services are planned for Tuesday at 10:00 at the church in Layton. Interment will be held at the South Morgan Cemetery.
