Joseph Victor Trancygier

Joseph Victor Trancygier passed away peacefully on May 15, 2025.

He is survived by his daughter Laurel Conover and grandchild Kerrigan Conover. He is also survived by his sister-in-laws Betty and Judy, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his former wife, Melba Shipton, son Vance Trancygier and daughter Heather Trancygier.

Joe was a US Airforce Master Sergeant, retired with 22 years active duty and a member of the Catholic Church.

He was a good friend and had a caring heart. He opened up his home and helped many people in need. He would see the good in people.

He loved his plants and his home inside and out are filled with flowers. He was a real animal lover, having many pets over the years.

Underneath that gruff and sometimes grouchy exterior was a warm and loving heart and a wonderful soul. He will be missed by many and loved by everyone always.

A graveside service will be held May 22, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the South Morgan Cemetery, (335 S. State St, Morgan, UT 84050). With a viewing preceding the graveside from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Walker Mortuary, (45 W 200 N, Morgan, UT 84050).
