Jeffrey Dee Piercy, affectionately known as Jeff, was born on December 2, 1980, in Ogden, Utah, and passed away on February 21, 2026, in Coalville, Utah. He is remembered as a devoted husband, father, brother, and friend whose vibrant spirit and warm personality touched the lives of many.

Jeff spent close to 17 years working at Flare Construction before transitioning to Enbridge Gas Company, where he dedicated the last four years of his career. Known for his quick wit and playful nature, he enjoyed pranking his co-workers and developing lasting friendships, making the workplace a more joyful environment.

A graduate of North Summit High School, Jeff was a multi-talented individual with a keen intellect and technical skills. He had a true passion for cars, taking pride in getting the vehicles he loved running smoothly, and was often found working on his motorcycle or creating innovative projects, such as making his first water-cooled computer. As a hands-on person, he was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

Jeff was also a creative soul, finding joy in drawing and playing the guitar. He took great pleasure in cooking, particularly in smoking food on his smoker, bringing together family and friends for memorable gatherings.

Those who had the pleasure of knowing Jeff described him as easy to talk to, always ready to lend an ear, and he had a remarkable ability to make you feel better with just a conversation. His remarkable qualities and genuine kindness will be deeply missed by all who crossed his path.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Amelia Piercy; his children, Jason Piercy and Hannia Piercy; his brother, Chris Piercy; and his sister, Melinda Sanchez. He was preceded in death by his cherished grandparents, Vern and Norma Wilde.

Jeffrey’s legacy of friendship, humor, and creativity will continue to resonate within the hearts of those he loved and who loved him in return.
