Holly Ann Wendt, 61, passed away peacefully on the morning of September 26, 2026, after a long period of declining health.

Holly was born on December 2, 1964, in Ogden, Utah, to Judy Whatcott Kendell and Norman C. Searle. Holly and her siblings were later adopted by Craig W. Kendell. She spent much of her youth in Uintah and Sunset, Utah.

Holly graduated from Bonneville High School in 1983 and shortly afterward began her career in the hair industry. On July 17, 1986, she married Bryan Wendt. Together, they welcomed two children, Miles, born in June 1987, and Amber, born in December 1989.

Holly was a loving, outgoing person who truly loved people. She had a big heart and was always willing to do anything she could for the people she cared about. Her children meant the world to her, and there was nothing she wouldn’t do for Miles and Amber. She was also incredibly proud of and loved her grandchildren. They brought her tremendous joy, and she treasured the time she spent with them.

Holly is survived by her mother, Judy Kendell; her fathers, Norman C. Searle (Sharron) and Craig W. Kendell (Linda); her siblings, Shauna Ashton and Gary Kendell (Dixie); her son, Miles Wendt (Courtney); her daughter, Amber Wendt (Matt); and her grandchildren, Nora, Quinn, Chatney, Emberly, and Bryantly.

At Holly’s request, she was cremated, and her ashes will be shared among her loved ones. A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.

Holly will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing her. Her loving heart, outgoing personality, and devotion to her family will live on through the people she loved most.
