MORGAN - Harold Ernest (Ty) Little, 91, passed away on June 30, 2009 of causes incident to age. He was born July 14, 1917 in Morgan, Utah to Charles Morgan and Rhoda Johnson Little. He married Marion Blonquist on August 21, 1945.

Ty graduated from Morgan High School where he played basketball, football, and baseball. He continued his support of the school throughout his life. He also attended and played basketball at Weber State College. He considered it a privilege to serve his country, where he served valiantly during World War II, receiving three bronze battlestars.

After the war he worked at and later purchased the Valley Implement Company with his wife, Marion. His work ethic and love for people endeared him to all. His word was his bond. Many friendships were made and no one left his store without either a bottle of soda or a tootsie pop. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and believed in serving others. Ty served his community as a Morgan County Commissioner, City Councilman, and in the Morgan Lions Club.

The focus of his life was his family. He always believed in supporting his friends and neighbors. He loved his children and attending all their activities. They were his greatest joy and accomplishment. Our lives were uplifted because of his selflessness, kindness and laughter.
