Gary Glen Siddoway “Lil Gar” passed away peacefully at the age of 42 on August 18th, 2026 from an unexpected discovery of a brain tumor while surrounded by his loving family.
Gary was born January 17, 1984 in Ogden, Utah to Gary and Teri Siddoway. Gary grew up in Coalville, Utah. He enjoyed growing up with many cousins that lived in the same neighborhood. Gary loved Basketball from a very young age. He was a Number One Chicago Bulls Fan and a lifelong Michael Jordan Fan.
He loved dogs, especially his Alaskan Malamutes, which he trained to be sled dogs on the Rail Trail behind his house.
He Loved Snowmobiling and the many snowmobile rides and trips he took with his Dad.
One of his favorite jobs of all time was working at Moore’s Chevron and visiting with all the local towns people, everyone loved Lil Gar.
Gary graduated from North Summit High School in May 2002.
He went on to attend college at Weber State University where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance.
After graduating College he worked for Chase Bank where he earned many awards!
In 2009 Gary was diagnosed with Epilepsy. Although that came with many challenges Gary never let that discourage him.
Gary started working at the Delta Center with the Utah Jazz in 2017 on the Suite level as a Guest Service Team member. He loved everyone he worked with and was very proud to tell everyone he worked for the Jazz.
Gary lived in downtown Salt Lake for 8 years then later moved back to Coalville to live with his Mom and be close to his Family and to enjoy his hometown he loved so much.
Gary was so blessed to have two amazing Parents that took him to and from work for many years.
One of Gary’s proudest moments was meeting President Thomas S. Monson at Little America while eating breakfast,
Also President Russell M. Nelson in Park City, and President Dallin H. Oaks at City Creek Center in downtown Salt Lake. Gary loved meeting famous people, He had met many over the years.
Gary is survived by his father Gary (Nan) Siddoway. His mother Teri Adkins, 3 Sisters McKenzie (Colby) Pace, Lindsay (Jason) Moore, Tiffanie (Ed) Woolstenhulme, nieces, nephews, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that loved him dearly.
He is preceded in death by Grandpa and Granny Adkins and Grandpa and Grandma Siddoway. Also his dear cousin Cameron Adkins and many aunts and uncles.
Services will be held at the Coalville Stake Center on Wednesday, August 26th at 12:00 noon, a viewing will be held on Tuesday, August 25th from 6 to 8 PM and on Wednesday 10:30-11:30 AM at the Coalville Stake Center.
Interment will be at the Coalville City Cemetery

We would like to extend a tremendous amount of Thanks to the AMAZING Medical Team in the Neuro ICU at the Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah.
We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the many family members, friends, and members of our community who have reached out with prayers, sympathy, kind words, and heartfelt love for Gary. Your support and compassion during this difficult time has meant more to our family than words can express.
