Gary Burraston

January 21, 1966 — June 30, 2017

Gary Lee Burraston, age 51, joined his Heavenly Father on Friday, June 30 2017, surrounded by his loving family.

Gary was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Lee and Nancie Burraston on January 21, 1966. He was raised in Morgan, Utah and graduated from Morgan High School and LDS Seminary where he was Seminary President his senior year. After his graduation, he served an LDS mission in Des Moines, Iowa. Gary has always had a very strong testimony and love for his Heavenly Father and Savior.

Upon returning from his mission, he attended Weber State University where he received a Bachelors degree in Hospital Administration, specializing in Geriatrics. Gary worked as a Nursing Home Administrator for 25 years and loved his residence and staff.

Gary loved fly fishing, hunting, football, driving his Jeep, working with the youth, and going to the Temple; but most of all, he loved and cherished the time he spent with his beautiful wife and kids.

Gary is survived by his wife, Julie; his children: Jamesen, Noah, and Chloe; his mother and father, Lee and Nancie Burraston; sisters: Susan Burraston and Shelley (Derek) Holloway; nieces: Misty and Heather; and nephews: Jonathan and Dalan.

For those who wish to join his family for a celebration of his life, you may pay your respects at the Walker Mortuary, Wednesday, July 5, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m., 42 W. 200 North, Morgan, Utah.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 6, 2017, at 11 a.m. at the Morgan Stake Center, 355 N. 700 East, Morgan, Utah.

On behalf of the entire Burraston family, we would like to say thank you to all the many family, friends, doctors, and nurses for the care, love, and support throughout his precious time here on earth.
