Garth Wardle

Garth passed away Sept. 29, 2022 at South Ogden Post Acute surrounded by loved ones.

Garth Rock Wardle was born August 8, 1935 in Ogden, UT and lived there all his life. He was a High Priest in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Garth worked for 20 years at the Deseret Industries. He served as a door greeter for the Harrisville 6th Ward for over 20 years.

Garth was involved in the Boy Scouts of America for over 30 years, receiving the Silver Beaver Award.

He is survived by his brother Thomas D. (Ruth) Wardle and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Rulan D. and Noma Rock Wardle and brother Lance R. Wardle.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Wed, Oct 5, 2022 at Walker Mortuary, 45 W 200 N, Morgan. A viewing will be from 10-11 am prior to services at Walker Mortuary. Interment at North Morgan Cemetery.

Special thanks to the staff at Ability Hospice and the staff at South Ogden Post Acute. Many thanks to all the friends, ward members and neighbors for all their loving care they have shown Garth throughout the years. A very special thank you to the Palmer family.
