Don Preece

MORGAN - Our Husband, Dad and Grandpa left this life from causes related to dementia surrounded by his family for a bigger and better fishing trip on July 16, 2012.

Don was born December 11, 1936 to George David Preece and Geneva Robinson in Morgan, Utah where he lived his entire life.

He married his sweetheart "Bubbles" Carol Mortenson on June 19, 1959.

He retired from Hill Air Force Base in 1977. His hobbies were fishing, hunting, camping and spending time with his family. Don was known for his sense of humor. He loved telling stories and everyone loved to hear them.

He is survived by his wife Carol Preece of Morgan, his five children, Corey (Lorrie) Preece of Morgan, Brian (Calleen) Preece of Uintah, Vicky (Mike) Young of Morgan, Sherry Baker of Eagle Mountain and Kristy Preece of Morgan; his grandchildren, Amy (Toby) Green, Justin (Whitney) Preece, Tyson (Tia) Preece, Jacob (Shaylee) Preece, Brandon (Kristy) Storey, Michelle Sheppard, Max Smith, Ashley (Wayne) LaMadeleine, Cody (Caylee) Young, Trishten Baker and Reven Baker. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, mother-in-law and father-in-law.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 20, 2012 at 11 a.m. in the Milton Church. A viewing for friends and family will be on Thursday, July 19, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Walker Mortuary in Morgan and Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to the services.

Interment will be at the North Morgan Cemetery.
