Denice Morgan Orton

Denice Morgan Orton, beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2026. She was born on July 30, 1954, to Lee and Colleen Morgan.

Denice was a kind and sweet person who brought warmth to the lives of those around her. She had a special love for cats, which was apparent in so many things around her—from the shirts she wore and stuffed animals she collected to the pictures that adorned her walls. Her love of cats was just one of the many things that made her uniquely Denice.

She also enjoyed shopping and spending time with the people she loved. Those who knew Denice will remember her gentle nature, her kindness, and the simple things that brought her happiness.

Denice is survived by her daughter, Delanie; her grandson, Tyson; and her siblings, Gloria Lindley (Dale), Brent Morgan (Sandy), Pam Westbroek (Daryl), and Lorrie Preece (Corey).

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Colleen Morgan, and her husband, Roger Orton.

A small family graveside service will be held at 12:00 noon on August 17, 2026, at South Morgan Cemetery.

Denice will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family and all who knew her.
