MORGAN - September 30, 2013, Darwin Robert Baird, "Dar" passed away of natural causes. He was born in Ogden, Utah, Dec. 22, 1945. Dar graduated from Morgan High School in 1964 and attended Utah State University. After over 25 years of dependably delivering freight for Motor Cargo, to his customers in Salt Lake Valley, he retired to his beloved farm in Morgan County. Dar was an avid outdoors man and rodeo competitor, but most of all he loved his horses and his acreage by the river.
He is survived by his daughter, Tamra Iverson (Jed); three grandchildren: Oliver, Miles and Asher; brother, Duane; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and mother Junius and Iven Baird and brother Larry Baird, sisters Rosann McCurdy and Merle Bowden.
A viewing will be held at the Milton LDS Chapel Friday, October 4, 2013 from 10:30 to 12:30 PM with graveside ceremonies to be held immediately following at 1:00 PM. Interment will be at the Milton Cemetery.
