With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Dale Curtis Wilson — a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and cherished friend to so many. Dale passed away peacefully at home, exactly where he wanted to be, on May 9, 2026, at the age of 90.

Dale was born on December 1, 1935, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Henry Bytheway Wilson and Wynona Curtis Wilson. He was the second of eight children and grew up learning the values of hard work, faith, family, and kindness — values he carried with him throughout his entire life. He married Patsy O. Wilson on November 11, 1960 in the Salt Lake Temple.

Dale lived a life defined by love, quiet strength, humility, and unwavering dedication to those he cared about most. He was a devoted husband, a proud father and grandfather, and a steady source of support and wisdom to all who knew him. His calm presence, gentle humor, and dependable nature brought comfort and strength to his family and friends through every season of life.

He spent most of his working years in the painting industry, where he built not only a respected career, but also lifelong friendships with those fortunate enough to work alongside him. Dale took great pride in providing for his family and earned the admiration and respect of many through his honesty, hard work, and integrity.

Dale also served faithfully in many church callings throughout his life. His quiet testimony, willingness to serve, and dedication to his faith were examples to all who knew him.

One of Dale’s greatest joys was gardening. He lovingly cared for beautiful gardens year after year, finding peace and fulfillment in the work he poured into them. Some of his happiest memories were made vacationing with his family in Montana, a treasured tradition passed down through generations that his family continues to enjoy today. He also cherished the many road trips he took with his sweetheart, always searching for the perfect piece of property where the family could gather, make memories, and spend time together.

Those who knew Dale will remember him for the example he set through his faith, kindness, wisdom, and love for others. His legacy lives on in the values he instilled, the lives he touched, and the countless memories his family and friends will hold close forever.

Dale is survived by his loving wife, Patsy Wilson; his children, Matt (Lynette), Paul (Vanessa), Sissy (Dave), daughter-in-law Natalie (Mike), Mandi (Sheon), Aaron (Amy), and Chris (Becca); as well as 28 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his sons, Curtis and Adam, along with many other loved ones who surely welcomed him home with open arms. We can only imagine the joyful reunion that took place as he entered heaven.

A viewing will be held in his honor on Thursday, May 14, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Walker Mortuary in Morgan, Utah.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 15, 2026, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 10 W. Young Street, Morgan, Utah. A viewing will take place from 9:30 to 10:30 AM, followed by funeral services from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Though Dale is no longer with us physically, his love, guidance, and example will remain in our hearts forever. We love you deeply and look forward to the day we are together again.
