Cleo Mortenson Stuart passed away March 17, 2018 after a long battle with ALS surrounded by her family. Cleo was born to Wayne and Marge Mortenson on June 21, 1942. She graduated from Morgan High School where she was a Cheerleader. After graduating High School she worked at Hill Air Force Base for 4 years before meeting the love of her life Denny Stuart. They were married February 26, 1966 and blessed with 5 boys, Susie who was like a daughter and numerous others that considered her mom. No girls was different for Cleo coming from a family of 9 girls. Cleo volunteered as a Morgan EMT for over 30 years and enjoyed decades of Bowling with great friends. She was well known for her pies, rolls and cinnamon rolls and enjoyed baking for the holiday boutiques every year.
Cleo loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed supporting her husband and boys in truck pulls, motorcycle racing, motorcycle hill climbs, and demolition derby. She enjoyed going Camping and most of all spending time with her grandchildren. She loved her holidays, if you happen to drive by you could tell by the lights and decorations. She worked at Como Springs, Stewarts Café, and Ace Hardware where you were greeted with a smile and “Hi, how can I help you”. She will be deeply missed. She is survived by her husband Denny; Sons: Todd, Guy(Angie), Matt(Kacey), Jed(LaDawn), Clay(Mindi), Deana(Daughter In-law) 14 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and one on the way, along with 8 sisters.
