Carl Wilde

April 30, 1914 — November 6, 2011

Carl Nix Wilde passed away Sunday, November 6, 2011, at Heber City, Utah, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 30, 1914, Coalville, Utah, to Charles Ernest and Della Nix Wilde.

He is survived by his wife, June Wright Calderwood Wilde to whom he had been married for 74 years. He has two sons, Kent C Wilde (Diane), Scott Carl Wilde (Linda) and a daughter Connie June Wilde Meadows. Carl who was always called 'Kelly' is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. Kelly was the second oldest of eight children and was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters; survived by brother, Walden Nix Wilde and sister, Eillene Wilde Richins. He attended and graduated from North Summit High School and was student body president in 1933.

Kelly loved to hunt and was a master fisherman. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Kelly and June served for several years in the Ogden LDS Temple as ordinance workers. He was secretary to the high priest quorum in his ward for over 23 years.

A viewing will be held at the LDS Stake Center in Coalville, Utah, Friday, November 11, from six to eight pm, also, Saturday, November 12, from 9:45 a�" 10:45 am followed by the funeral at 11:00 am.

Interment will be in the Coalville City Cemetery.
