Brance John Brown

May 19, 1991 — April 10, 2024

Morgan

Brance John Brown was able to fight stage-four colorectal cancer for over three years and has finally found rest in the arms of His Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ. Brance was born May 19, 1991 to a beautiful Mother, Nanette Esplin Brown and a Soldier and Father, James Alan Brown in the Southern Utah city of St. George. Brance spent his first four years near cousins and extended family in Cedar City, Utah. The family moved to Morgan, Utah in November 1995.

Brance attended Morgan Elementary, Morgan Middle and Morgan High Schools. While attending he made a lot of friends and had a lot of fun on various Baseball, Basketball, Soccer, Bowling, Track and Cross Country teams. In High School he was able to run in the State 5k Race for Cross Country his Sophomore year. He was able to be on a Championship Bowling Team his Senior year and help serve as a Student Body Officer. While growing up he enjoyed scouting and the outdoors and traveling. He earned his Eagle Scout Award at 16.

His passion for outdoors led him to hunt deer, elk and turkey with his family in an area he often referred to as “heaven”, the Oak Valley in Southern Utah. He graduated high school in 2009 and shortly after started to date his sweetheart Savana and attended Weber State University. He attended for a year and left on his mission to Chile, Rancagua in August 2010. He returned home honorably in April 2011.

The day life started to come together and make sense for Brance was the day Savana said yes to marrying him, June 12, 2012. They were sealed for time and all eternity on October 5, 2012 in the Bountiful, Utah Temple. Brance and Savana lived in South Weber for four years. He graduated from Weber State in December 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in Communication, Digital Media.

His working life was unique as a Milkman, and Farmhand at Rosehill Dairy, Taxidermist Assistant at Deer Creek Wildlife Studio, Free-Lancer, Small Business Owner of Brance Brown Productions, Office Assistant at Ogden Police Department, Tech Specialist at Ride Systems, EMT Basic and Firefighter Volunteer at Morgan City and Office/Marketing Manager at Bingham’s Custom Meats.

He had a lot of fun wherever he worked and made great relationships with coworkers, clients and customers. His motto was “striving to be constantly consistent and consistently constant.” He loved life. He had a passion for making things better. He loved to see others succeed and would help them as much as he could with his skills.

He loved art, drawing, design and writing. His absolute favorite place to be was with Savana. His next favorite place to be was with Grandma and Grandpa at the cabin in the Oak Valley at Kolob. His next favorite place was anywhere with his boys. He loved being a dad and helping his sons grow and learn. His favorite things on Earth; Savana, going for drives in the bus, and slug, going for a run, especially with Billy, mowing the lawn, snow-blowing the driveway, flying with Dane, being a firefighter, helping someone in need listening to stories and jokes from his boys.

May his smile and genuine service be an example to everyone. Don’t forget to “keep on keepin’ on.” He is survived by an amazing family; Sister, Bobbi (Matthew) Eddy, Brother, William Alan “Billy” (Janessa) Brown, Mom, Nanette Esplin Brown, Dad, James Alan Brown. In-laws; Father, Dane Wells Wilkinson, Mother, Wendy Titensor Wilkinson, Brother Max (Courtney) Wilkinson, Sisters; Summer (Scott) Newin, Kenna (Ryan) Scott, Meg Wilkinson. His lovely, beautiful, sweet, dear, kind, generous, sweetheart Savana (Wilkinson) Brown and their three strong, handsome, fun, silly sons; Walker John Brown (8), Colt Dane Brown (6), Knox Shane Brown (5).
