Bonnie Rae (McGregor) Wright, age 75, of Mountain Green, UT, returned to her heavenly father on Saturday, December 19, 2020, at Ogden Regional Hospital due to complications from Covid-19.


She was born December 22, 1944 and adopted by Francis and Hazel McGregor at the age of 3. She married the love of her life Douglas V Wright on February 28, 1964. She lived a happy life as an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a dedicated homemaker, making sure that everyone felt taken care of, included and loved. She never missed a grandchild’s birthday celebration, school or sports event. She had a special love for art and especially loved painting. She loved traveling all over the world with her family taking several trips every year. She always cherished the times hanging out with the “Golden Girls”.

She is survived by her husband, Douglas V Wright; siblings, Reed McGregor of St George and Rosie Tucker of Rose Park; Children, Sondra (Bernie) Carter of Mountain Green and Brett (Erica) Wright of West Haven; son-n-law, David Palmer of Kaysville; seven grandchildren, Ashley, Jacob, Bryce, Brennan, Madeline, Annalise and Brooks; six great-grandchildren, Karter, Zoey, Kobe, Ziva, Charlotte and Colette; other extended family and many dear friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Traci Wright Palmer.


Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2020 at 12 noon at the Mountain Green Church.  Friends and family may call at the church Wednesday from 11 to 11:45 a.m.

Interment will be in the Mountain Green Cemetery.
