It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, brother, nephew, and son, Benjamin Lynne Moss. Ben died February 7th, 2026, at his home in South Weber Utah. He was surrounded by his loving wife and sons. Ben was born March 6, 1971, in Ogden, Utah, to his parents Steven Kent Moss and Mary Jane Rich Moss.
He graduated from Layton High School, Layton, Utah in June 1989. He attended Weber State University and studied Statistical Process Control. He was employed by Tech Steel Inc, Huntsman Packaging, and Kimberly Clark. He was well liked by coworkers and all he met because of his easy-going attitude and love for people. He believed that being your brother’s keeper was the best policy.
Ben married the love of his life Suzanne Clark February 9, 1996. They have two sons, Collin Lynne Moss and Connor Kent Moss. Ben loved his family and was especially proud of his sons, they were the light of his life. Ben loved the adventure of traveling and the open road. Over the years he visited Florida, Washington, D.C., Oregon, Alaska, and Montana. Ben especially loved the yearly fishing trips to Montana with his dad, brothers, and his boys. He loved cooking in the mountains and sitting around the campfire telling stories at night. He was counting on and planning the next fishing trip in May up until his death. He loved spending time at the family cabin in Heber City and spent one summer working for the Utah State Parks and Recreation while living at the cabin.
Ben loved caring for his lawn and home. He also enjoyed time spent in the garage surrounded by tools, wood, and the smell of saw dust. He loved all sports: basketball, football, and especially baseball. He loved playing, watching, and listening to the games on the radio while working in the garage. He was also an avid Sports Dad for his son Connor.
He is survived by his wife Suzi and sons Collin Lynne Moss and Connor Kent Moss, his parents Steve and Jane Moss and brothers Jeffery T. Moss (Angela), Jeremiah James Moss (Katie) and Jacob Rich Moss, and his nephews and nieces.
Ben was a kind soul, tender and strong. His heart was as big as his hands. He was courageous in his fight against cancer and an example of bravery to all that encountered him. His influence will be felt for years to come. The family would like to thank his faithful companion and friend Charlie for riding shotgun with him for years in the white Ford truck.
A viewing will be held at Walker Mortuary, Morgan, Utah February 13, 2026, from 11:00 to 12:00 followed by a celebration of his life. Internment will be held at South Morgan Cemetery, Morgan, Utah.
