Allen Kent Carrigan, 90, of Morgan, Utah, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born on January 14, 1935, in Morgan Utah to Russ and LaNez Carrigan, Allen spent his life rooted in the community that shaped him and that he, in turn, helped shape.
Allen was a graduate of Morgan High School. Working alongside his father, he learned the work ethic that would guide him for the rest of his life. He dedicated much of his career to Russ Carrigan Motors, working alongside family and earning a reputation for honesty, integrity, and a firm handshake that sealed every deal.
Service was at the heart of Allen’s life. He volunteered countless hours with Morgan County Search and Rescue and the Morgan County Fire Department, always ready to answer the call when his neighbors needed help. Whether rescuing a stranded motorist or fighting a fire, Allen approached every challenge with quiet courage and steady resolve.
Family was his greatest pride and joy. Allen married the love of his life, LueCree Smith Carrigan, and together they raised three sons — Brett, Boyd, and Darin — instilling in them the same values he lived by.
Allen found his greatest happiness outdoors. He loved camping, boating, and deer hunting trips with his family and friends.
Allen’s legacy is one of integrity, hard work, and deep devotion to his family and community. He leaves behind a life well-lived and an example well worth following.
Allen is survived by his sons Brett (Jodi), Boyd (Jill) and Darin(Penny) Carrigan. He was the proud grandfather to 9 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his brother Roger(Jill) Carrigan and sister Patsy Richins. He was proceeded in death by his wife LueCree, his parents, siblings Shona, Mary and Dixie.
The family would like to thank Corey, Baillie and the staff from Quality Home Health and Hospice for their kindness and care.
