Linda Anderson Lewis

July 31, 1943 ~ May 2, 2018 (age 74)

Linda Anderson Lewis of Morgan, Utah, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones after a courageous battle with diverticulitis over many years. Linda was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, friend and most of all a devoted mother. Linda was born on July 31, 1943, to Wesley V. and Helen Brown Anderson of Morgan, Utah. She was raised in the Morgan valley where she graduated from Morgan High School in 1961.

Linda worked for the Ogden Airport, Browning Manufacturing and Rogers Grocery Store in Morgan. She graduated from Weber State College in Cosmetology and continued by serving many patrons in her home beauty shop over 50-years. She loved her customers and looked forward to their next visit. She made many lifetime friendships in her beauty parlor. This profession allowed her time to stay home with her children, oil paint, and to garden. She was very proud of her home and her yard and she was always willing to share the beauty around her with others. She hosted several Relief Society functions in her back yard as well as a family wedding. She was loved by her family and her friends and all were welcome.

Linda was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She served as the ward chorister for many years, in Relief Society Presidency and her most cherished position of all was teaching with her son Mike in the Primary. She adored the children that she served and always had a soft spot for each and every one of them.

Linda is survived by her two children; Teri L. Rich and Michael S. Wade. Two brothers and one sister; Frank (Lois) Anderson, Marilyn (John Carr) Lofgreen and Jim (Gloria) Anderson all of Milton, Utah. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son-in-law, Tommie Rich.

A viewing will be held for family and friends on Sunday, May 6, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Walker Mortuary in Morgan, Utah.
