Beverly Bond

January 22, 1928 — January 17, 2018

Beverly Jean Francis Bond, 89, our loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family on January 17, 2018.

She was one of identical twin daughters born on January 22, 1928 in Morgan, Utah, to William Weisbrodt and Cecelia Knight Francis. She grew up on the family farm where she learned to work hard and play.

She graduated from Morgan High School in 1946 and went to work as a Freedom of Information Clerk at HAFB, retiring in 1993, after 36 years of service. She spoke highly of her co-workers and made many dear, life-long friends there.

She married her sweetheart, Gordon Barnes Bond on February 13, 1948 for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake City Temple. They made their home in Morgan where they were blessed with their two daughters, Judy and Teresa.

Her favorite times were spent with her family snowmobiling in the Uintas, 4-wheeling at the sand dunes and having all her grandkids spend the summers swimming in their pool.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had a strong testimony of the Savior. She had many Christ-like attributes, but her selflessness and love for others stood out above all. She made everyone feel welcome in her home and her positive attitude never changed, even as she endured the challenges of multiple strokes and being blind.

She is survived by her two daughters: Judy (Stuart) Wilkinson, of Morgan, and Teresa (DellRay) Anderson of Tremonton. She has eight grandchildren: Shane (Alyson) Wilkinson, Traci (Derrick) Glass, Katie (Ryan) Wilson, KaLee (Jonathon) Aaron, Aubrey (Eric) Lowder, Heidi (Nic) Cutler, Ryan (Stephanie) Anderson, Britney (Scott) VanderDoes. She also has 22 great-grandchildren: Kenzly, Whitly, Haily, Joclyn, Jake, Jordyn, Sandra, Maddison, Kadyn, Cambry, Skylar, Ryker, Nicson, Daxton, Chase, Mykah, Blakely, Annelyse, Morgan, Camden, Cecelia, and Riley.

She is also survived by her twin sister Barbara Gustaveson (Lloyd) and Thelma Bond.

She was preceded in death by her husband, and her siblings: Carl Francis, Rulon Francis, Leah Richins, Vera Brough, Grace Rich, and Clarence Francis.

In honor of our mother’s wishes, there will be a viewing held at Walker Mortuary on Monday January 22, 2018 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Graveside services will follow at 1:30 p.m. at the South Morgan Cemetery. All friends and family are invited to attend. Mom loved everything bright and cheerful. In her honor, please dress in your brightest colors.

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Encompass Hospice, to Justin and Cori, for their heart-felt love and kindness shown to mom and to our family.

Mom, we love you so much and we are going to miss your positive attitude and warm smile.
