Vera Widdison

November 1, 1921 — July 23, 2015

MORGAN - Vera Jane Suiter Widdison completed her turn on earth and passed from this life on July 23, 2015.  She was born November 1, 1921 in West Point, Davis County, Utah to John Floyd and Beatrice Manita Flint Suiter.

She grew up in South Hooper and was educated in the Weber County School District.  She married Max Berry Widdison on February 9, 1939 in Hooper, Utah.  Their marriage was solemnized on February 26, 1942 in the Salt Lake Temple.  Six children were born to them.  Max died July 20, 1977.

Vera was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Morgan 11th Ward and served in many positions.

She is survived by three sons and two daughters, Floyd Max (Charlotte) Widdison, Mountain Green, Bruce Berry (Ramona) Widdison, Centerville, David Dal (Nikole) Widdison, North Ogden, Janis Widdison, Morgan, and Judy Ann Dunn, Mesquite, Nevada, 15 Grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren with another one on the way and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Max, one son, Robert Michael Widdison, two grandsons, two great-grandchildren, three sisters, Cora Bingham, Verna Arave and Ruby Belnap and her brother Floyd Dean Suiter.

The family would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the many kind hearts and helping hands that made it possible for Mom (Grandma) to stay home including Tammy Buckway, Seth Lewis, Miller Atagi and Karen Barlow with Encompass Home Health & Hospice for the loving care they provided her over the last 15 months.

Family and friends may call at the Walker Mortuary located at 45 West 200 North Morgan on Sunday, July 26, 2015 from 5 to 7 pm.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 27, 2015 at 2 pm at the Field Street LDS Church located at 240 South Field Street Morgan, Utah with a viewing prior to the funeral from 12:45 pm to 1:45 pm.  Burial will be at the South Morgan Cemetery.
