Welcome to the memorial page for

LeeAnn (Boyer) Rowser

October 4, 1948 ~ June 11, 2017 (age 68)

In every crowd there has to be that one person that is strong, resilient, steadfast, and puts the cares of others before their own.  That was LeeAnn.  She was a fighter!  Although cancer tried to break her it could not break her spirit and zest for life.  Even while fighting she still maintained her positive outlook, compassion for others and was a guiding light for her family.

LeeAnn Boyer Rowser started her life's journey on October 4, 1948 as she enlightened the life of her parents Edwin Wilde Boyer and Thea Nichols. Mom's earthly journey ended June 11, 2017 surrounded by those she loved the most and was lovingly welcomed home by her dear mother, brother Chad and sister-in-law Jeaninne.

She was the backbone and love of her husband Bruce Rowser; she was and continues to be his strength.  They married on February 22, 1969 and were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on July 17, 1981. Her children Travis (Shelly), Tiffanie (Kip) Robinson, Trever (Misty), Tori (Justin) Diston, Tyler, and Trent (Jaclyn) and her 18 beautiful grandchildren were her greatest joy. She reveled in their accomplishments and thrived in their presence.  She spent her life in their service and the service of others.

Her passion for life began at a young age where she was a loving example to her five siblings; Craig, Chris, Becky, Marla and Chad. It was evident throughout her life how much she loved and adored each one of them and their families.

She graduated from North Summit High School in 1966.  In true fashion, mom was very involved and engrained in various school organizations. As a dedicated cheerleader, she developed a true love for the Braves.  She passed that love on to her family and continued to cheer for the Braves relentlessly. She loved to hear of the collective success of the school and students.  She was truly a Brave to the bone!

Mom attended Utah State University and Weber State University where she obtained a bachelor degree in elementary education. It is hard to describe the passion and love she had for teaching and being surrounded by the youth. She started her career teaching in the Morgan School District but completed her 32 years at North Summit Elementary. She touched so many lives of students and faculty. Teaching was her legacy that continued on with each student.

Mom was blessed with many gifts and talents. Her love of music and the arts, along with her knack for writing and creativity touched the hearts of countless people. She wrote and produced numerous speeches, plays, roadshows, school programs and performances, creating lasting memories for many.

Mom loved to serve others and was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved to attend church, to feel the spirit with her friends in the gospel. She served in many capacities and was currently serving as the Stake Primary President but enjoyed every calling she had.

We would like to thank Melanie, Elsie and Candice with Symbii Home Health Care for their love and compassion for our wife and mother.

So we invite you to celebrate the amazing life of our loving wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 for a viewing from 6 - 8 pm and June 14, 2017 a viewing from 9:30 - 10:30 am followed by funeral services at 11:00 am.
