Karl Warner

September 2, 1931 — February 21, 2015

COALVILLE - Karl Keith Warner left this earth on Saturday, Feb 21, 2015, at home surrounded by his loved ones.

Dad was born on Sept 2, 1931 in Fountain Green, UT to Adren Leon and Marie Madsen Warner. The family moved to Coalville, UT, when he was 3 years old. He graduated from North Summit High School. After graduation he worked in the area and joined the army reserves. He met Berniece Brown, the love of his life, and they married in Evanston, WY on March 20, 1953. They lived in Coalville and raised their family.  Dad was a master mechanic working for several local businesses and owned K & J Auto with friend Jeff Sargent and then self employed.   He loved the outdoors, camping with his family and driving to ANY destination.  Dad loved animals, gardening and especially his family & grandchildren. Dad was a member of the LDS Church.

Karl is survived by his wife and best friend, Berniece; daughters Anna (Kurt)Simister, Sheryl (Doug)Porter, all of Coalville;  9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 2 cats Jorge & Buddy. He was preceded in death by his son Kim, parents, brothers Reed, Bill & Richard, and a sister Margie Wright.

The family would like to send a heartfelt thanks to all the staff at Encompass Hospice of Heber for their kind and loving care of dad, Dr William Nibley and staff, and Dr Wain Allen and Jeanette Vernon, PA, and Misty (a granddaughter).

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 26 at noon, at the Hoytsville Ward Church(1095 S. Hoytsville Rd), with a viewing prior at 10:45-11:45 am.  A visitation will be on Wednesday, February 25, from 6-8 pm at the Hoytsville Ward Church.

Interment will follow the services at the Coalville City Cemetery.
