Janet Gransden

Janet Richards Ashton Gransden passed away July 12, 2016 at her residence in Kaysville, Ut.
Janet was born February 24, 1923 to Winnie R and Raymond J. Ashton in Salt Lake City, Ut.
She attended East High School and graduated from the University of Utah in 1943,
Janet and Wesley J. Gransden married March 12, 1943. During their 62 years together they farmed and ranched in Summit, Weber and Morgan counties in Utah. They also ranched in Daniel, Wy and Prescott, Az.
Janet is survived by Paul (Lory) Gransden of Cora, Wy and their children Todd & Beverly Stevie , Mike Stevie, Bill & Coleen Gransden; Jean (Elmer) Vick of Fairhope, Al; and Bob (Sharon) Huerta of Morgan, Ut and their children Denise (Mark) Kleinfield, Mark (Pam) Huerta and Scott Huerta. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Rochelle Stevie, Annie Stevie, Chance Stevie, Frankie Gransden and Jubal Gransden.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley J. Gransden, her parents Winnie R & Raymond J Ashton, and 3 siblings.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, July 16 at 11: 00 a.m. at South Morgan Cemetery.
