Ida Mae Turner Van Horn

Ida Mae Turner Van Horn, 94, peaceably passed away in her home on November 3, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Garland Van Horn, her parents, Joseph and Hattie Turner and her siblings, Walter, Ruth, Stewart and Della. She leaves behind a daughter, Wendy (Merril) Chipman, six grandchildren, Jessica (Brandon) Shaw, Nathan Chipman, Gregory Chipman, Andrew (Roxanna) Chipman, Seth Chipman and Marynda  Chipman as well as 4 great grandchildren.

Ida was born on June 8, 1921 in Morgan, UT. She grew up being very close with her family and stayed close with them, especially her sister Della. She enjoyed travel, a good conversation and keeping busy. She was very generous and loving; all who knew her were blessed to have her in their lives. She will be missed.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2015 at 12 noon at Walker Mortuary, 45 West 200 North, Morgan, UT.  Friends and family may call at the mortuary Tuesday from 11 to 11:45 a.m.  Interment will be in the South Morgan Cemetery.
