Floriene Glass

February 1, 1931 — January 13, 2016

Floriene Pentz Glass left this earth 13 January 2016 to be with her Lord and Savior and dear husband Jim.  She was born to Jacob Grover and Ruby Leone Irwin Pentz at her grandparent’s home in Stoddard, Utah, on 1 February 1931 and was the ninth of 14 children.  She married Tillman “Jim” Glass, her life partner, and they celebrated 40 years of marriage before he passed away on 16 June 1998.

Floriene retired from Hill Air Force Base February 1987.  She owned and operated, along with her husband, Glass Confectionery and Café, and the Tack Shack in Stoddard UT.

She is survived by daughter, Lauri (Wayne) Young; son, Jake (Dana) Glass; Step-Children, Alan (Colleen) Glass, Robynn (Michael) Sollinger; grandkids, Jeremy (Jennifer), Karly, John (Jaimee), Crystal,  Derrick (Traci), Riley, Alexa, Sunny, Eddie, Jeff, Scott, Andrea, Johnna, Casey, Kellie, Shaylin, Shanell (Serge), Michael and 19 great grandkids.  Also surviving is her Brother, Wendell (Debbie) Pentz, special Sister-in-Laws, Arleen Pentz, Waynetta Pentz and her Georgia family.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jim; Brothers: Charley, Eugene, Jacob, Jay, Jon, Kendell, Wayne; Sisters: Helen, Leone, Beth, Margie, Wanda and Step-Daughter, Gayle Williams Stott.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 11:00 a.m., at Walker Mortuary, 45 W 200 N, Morgan Utah.  Friends and family may call at the mortuary Saturday from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m.

Interment will be at the North Morgan Cemetery.

Per Floriene’s wishes, in lieu of flowers, give to someone in need or to a Veterans organization of your choice.
