Adam Stout

November 7, 1972 — August 14, 2017

Our dad, son, and brother, Adam Woodruff Stout, 44, unexpectedly returned to his heavenly home on August 14, 2017 of natural causes. Adam was born on November 7, 1972 in Bountiful, Utah to Gerald Stout and Jerralyn (Rigby) Drummond. Adam graduated from Morgan High School where he was active in football and wrestling. He served an LDS mission to California, San Bernardino from 1992-1994. He was a graduate of Davis Applied Technology Center with an electrical journeyman’s degree. Adam was a successful and well respected general contractor and superintendent in the construction industry. He loved to go to work, because all of his colleagues were his friends.

On May 6, 1995 he married his former spouse, Veronica Smith, in the Salt Lake Temple. Together they had six beautiful children: Emily (21), Molly (18), Max (17), Holden (13), Bailey (11), and Harley (7). Adam’s children were the loves of his life. His children will remember their dad as a happy hard working guy. He loved to take the kids to ride motorcycles, go on vacation, or go out for a night on the town. Adam loved to surprise his children with birthday wishes and Christmas presents that they didn’t expect, just to see the looks on their faces when they opened their gifts. He will be remembered by introducing his children by saying, “These are my awesome kids!”

Adam valued family; he loved working alongside of his brothers and was always the sibling who rallied to welcome those who felt left out. He made friends with whomever he associated with and was willing to serve anyone who was in need. Adam was the most congenial and friendly guy around - he was regarded as everyone’s friend. He was always the life of the party, with quippy jokes, hilarious limericks, and creative nicknames for everyone. His latest pride and joy was his grandson Asher, and had already bought him his first “bike” to get him trained up to be a rider. Many of his nieces and nephews remember Adam taking them on their first motorcycle ride and “peeling out” in the campground at Grandma’s. All that knew Adam will remember him for his contagious laugh and willingness to accept everyone.

Adam is survived by his children, Emily (Kade) Dalton, Eagle Mountain; Molly, Max, Holden, Bailey, and Harley, all of Morgan; his parents, Gerald (Marilyn) Stout, and Jeri (Al) Drummond, Peterson. He is also survived by his grandson, Asher Dalton; 10 siblings and their spouses, 26 nieces and nephews, and countless friends.

Adam was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alden and Eleen Rigby and Woodruff and Louise Stout, and his brother Jonathan Fuller Stout.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Morgan Utah North Stake Center 2755 W Old Hwy Rd Morgan, Utah and friends may call prior to the funeral from 9:45-10:45 am or Friday from 6:00-8:00 pm at Mountain Green Ward Chapel 4150 W Old Highway Rd, Morgan.
