Shauna Scow

Wanship - Shauna Lee Youngblood Scow - wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend - age 46, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home on Oct. 18, 2010. She was born August 10, 1964 in Bountiful, Utah to Charles F. and Pamela Jane Ferrin Youngblood.

Shauna attended and graduated from two high schools - Bountiful and Rich – where she played sports, including softball, track and basketball.

In 1985, she married Dann Ernest Scow.

She loved her family and her children; and was outgoing and hardworking; she had the best smile and was always happy. She enjoyed going to high school team sports to watch her children play.

She enjoyed bowling, fishing, boating, hunting, ATVing, snowmobiling and motorcycling. She loved the outdoors, the Uintahs and Bear Lake. Reading was a passion, along with gardening, and her four dogs: Tuff, Patches, Baby Girl and Duke.

For 25 years, she worked side by side with her husband, Dann on jobs too numerous to count. She had worked at K-Mart, Westlake Hotel, State Liquor Store, Bells, Flying J and Wal-Mart. She loved helping her father with his business.

She will be truly missed by all who knew her.

She was the love of my life. I knew it the minute I saw her… met her at a dance and she took my heart... been together ever since. I will miss her the most! Dann

Surviving is her husband, Dann of Wanship; daughter, Traci Scow Williams of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; son, TJ (Jean’e Robinson) Scow of Hoytsville; and son, Todd Curtis Scow of Wanship. Also surviving is her mother, Pamela Youngblood of Bountiful; and siblings: Cheri Passey, Kristi Bloomfield and Chuck Youngblood, Jr.

She is preceded in death by her father, Charles “Chuck” Youngblood.

A celebration of her life will be held at the Wanship LDS Church, 30899 Old Lincoln Highway, on October 30, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. A luncheon will follow.
