MTN GREEN – Marlene Moosman Farr, 80, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2013 in Ogden.
She was born May 8, 1932 in Richfield, Utah to Harvey and Elda Woolsey Moosman.
On June 1, 1950 she married Kenneth Lee Farr Jr. in the Salt Lake Temple.
Marlene was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held several positions. She enjoyed her family, her trees, gardening, painting, sewing and needlework.
Surviving are her husband, Kenneth, four children, Carol Marlene Urry, Becky Lee Montgomery, Kenneth Lee Farr III, Kathleen Smith, 11 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Utahna M. Richins and Loleta M. Langdon.
She was preceded in death by two children, Kenneth Michael Farr, Michele Farr Smith; and one brother, Gerald Moosman.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 7, 2013 at 11 a.m. in the Highlands Chapel, 5378 W Old Hwy Road, Mtn. Green, Utah. A viewing will be held at the church Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.
Interment, Mtn. Green Cemetery.
